EGL Energy Hybrid system was published in polish road & construction magazine “Autostrady” 08/09 2008, page 104-105:
Recently there occurred new solution for road lightening on polish market. The system is base on sun and wind ener¬gy that are 100% renewable sources. That is why the author presents a view that popular solar lightening will be replaced with the hybrid systems in the close future. The publication emphasizes the advantages of this new solution taking ecology, costs and installation into consideration. The reader can also get to know how the sun and wind energy is produced and transformed into light.

12th July 2008: EGL Energy opens offices in Europe
 EGL Energy announces the launch of EGL Energy European operations with a participation in the ENERGETAB 2008 Fair in Bielsko-Biala, Poland from 16-18 September 2008.
The EU has committed to reducing its overall emissions to at least 20% below 1990 levels by 2020, and is ready to scale up this reduction to as much as 30% under a new global climate change agreement if other developed countries make comparable efforts. It has also set itself the target of increasing the share of renewables in energy use to 20% by 2020.
Spearheaded by EGL Energia, the EGL Energy European office will help governments and corporations to utilise EU subsidies for renewable energy projects and implement EGL Energy solutions on a wide scale, particularly the wind-solar hybrid street and park lights.

"Renewable Energy Sources in Podkarpacie, Poland"
EGL Energy announced its entry into the European markets and presented its products.
The Event was held in order to bring awareness to the existing and potential renewable energy market within Europe and Poland. Available financial investment incentives from the European Union and supporting banks for developers and councils alike were also discussed.
